Our team never shies away from a challenging shoring or bridge jacking project, one of the favorite lines of work for many engineers at DHC. Whether it’s a historic building or damaged bridge, no two shoring projects are ever the same. DHC was nationally recognized in 2022 for our work on the Historic Bridgeport Covered Bridge Restoration Project, the longest covered wooden bridge in the United States. Previous award-winning temporary shoring projects completed by DHC include the Paseo Colorado building in Pasadena, CA and the Seattle Center Arena demolition. We are a proud member of the Scaffold and Access Industry Association (SAIA), where DHC senior engineer and branch manager Mitch Meadows is co-chair of the SAIA Shoring Council.
